Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of my 2nd brain, a reminder service delivered over WhatsApp by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. By messaging our WhatsApp number, you accept them.
1. What the service does
You send us a message describing something you want to be reminded about. We schedule it and send you a WhatsApp message at that time. You can also set a reminder for another person, subject to section 4.
my 2nd brain is a reminder service and nothing more. It does not answer general questions, give advice, search the internet, or hold open-ended conversations.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and have an active WhatsApp account. You are responsible for what is sent from your number.
3. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee
We work hard to deliver every reminder on time, but delivery depends on WhatsApp, mobile networks, and your device — none of which we control. A reminder may be late, or may not arrive.
Do not rely on my 2nd brain alone for anything where a missed reminder would be serious — medication, medical appointments, legal or statutory deadlines, or financial obligations with penalties. Keep a second method for those.
4. What you must not do
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to send unlawful, threatening, hateful, or obscene content.
- Impersonate another person.
- Use the service for bulk messaging, marketing, political messaging, or automated sending of any kind.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Resell the service or use it on behalf of a business without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
5. Free and paid plans
The free plan includes a set number of reminders each month, shown on our pricing section. The paid plan is ₹49 per month, billed monthly in advance, and removes those limits.
Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We will give at least [e.g. 30 days] notice on WhatsApp before any price change.
6. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel at any time by messaging us. Your paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then stops. Payments already made are not refunded, except where Indian consumer law requires it or where we have failed to provide the service for an extended period.
7. Stopping altogether
Reply STOP in any conversation and every reminder to you is cancelled immediately. To have your data erased as well, see deleting your data.
8. Your content
Your reminders remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and deliver them back to you.
9. Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we will give you at least [e.g. 30 days] notice on WhatsApp and refund any unused paid period.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a missed, late, or undelivered reminder. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
11. Not affiliated with Meta
my 2nd brain is independent. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, and Meta is not responsible for the service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be messaged to you on WhatsApp before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [CITY], [STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction.
